Templates

Templates are pre-built table schemas you can install in one click. Start with a community template and customise it to fit your server.

Browsing Templates

Visit the Template Library to browse all available templates. Each template shows:

  • Name and description — What the template is designed for.
  • Category — Gaming, RPG, Esports, Community, or Business.
  • Schema preview — The columns included, their types, and any default settings.
  • Install count — How many servers are using the template.

Popular templates include Inventory Tracker, Server Currency, Character Sheet, Match Results, and Bounty Board.

Installing a Template

  1. 1. Pick a template — Click on any template in the library to see its full details.
  2. 2. Click Install — Choose the server where you want to add the table. You need Manage Server permission.
  3. 3. Customise (optional) — Before confirming, you can rename the table, add or remove columns, and adjust permissions.
  4. 4. Confirm — CordBase creates the table and registers the slash commands. Your members can start using it immediately.

Installing a template counts toward your table limit on the Free plan (2 tables). Pro and Team plans have unlimited tables.

Publishing a Template

If you have built a table schema that others might find useful, you can publish it as a template.

  1. 1. Go to your table — Open the table in the dashboard and click Publish as Template.
  2. 2. Add a name and description — Write a clear description of what the template is for and how it should be used.
  3. 3. Choose a category — Pick the category that best fits (Gaming, RPG, Esports, Community, or Business).
  4. 4. Submit for review — Templates are briefly reviewed to ensure quality and appropriate content before being listed publicly.

Published templates show a “Powered by CordBase” credit and link back to your server (if you opt in). Your actual data is never shared — only the schema structure.

Customising After Install

Once installed, a template becomes a regular table that you fully control. You can:

  • Add, rename, or remove columns
  • Change column types and settings
  • Adjust role-based permissions
  • Rename the table

Changes you make do not affect other servers that installed the same template. Each installation is independent.
